About Jeffrey Aber:
Jeff started in the insurance industry in 1976 with a small agency in San Jose. In 1979 he joined a large regional brokerage. Over time that brokerage was acquired by even larger firms and eventually became part of an international brokerage. While the experience of working with an international firm was educational, it wasn't what he wanted to do. Jeff prefers to work directly with local firms. He likes to work with the owners or risk managers to develop and implement an effective risk management program. Joining Leavitt Pacific in 1994, then All West Insurance, as one of the partners has allowed him to get back to what he enjoys the most and does the best. Jeff's emphasis over the years has been with construction, manufacturing and high-tech firms. He has also been highly involved with Surety and other types of bonds. Jeff was raised and continues to live in the San Jose area. He received a B.S. degree from San Jose State University. He is active in many associations and has often been a speaker on insurance topics. He has testified in Sacramento on various occasions regarding insurance and surety issues. His hobbies include, golf, racquetball, and woodworking.
